Prime Primitive: 1976–1977 - Testors
NYC’s snarling underground is alive and well on Prime Primitive: 1976–1977, a raw, essential release from cult punk legends Testors.
Founded by Sonny Vincent in ‘75, Testors were too wild for labels, too pure for compromise. And yes, these tracks hit like a busted mic to the face. It’s giving fuzzed-out guitars and street-poet lyrics that still burn. Limited silver foil vinyl. No streaming. No AI. Just the real deal.

You Won't Shut Up - Hard-Ons With Jerry A
This one doesn’t ask politely, it kicks the door in and tells you exactly what it thinks. You Won’t Shut Up is the snarling new single from Aussie punk legends The Hard-Ons, teaming up once again with Jerry A of Poison Idea. And yes, it’s as loud, pissed-off, and perfectly unhinged as that sounds.
This thing drips with an old-school attitude from the opening riff, and I love it. More than just a one-off, this is the first taste of a long-teased collab album between The Hard-Ons and Jerry A.
Grab it on limited yellow or purple wax before it disappears, or stream it loud and piss off your neighbors. Either way, this one’s not shutting up anytime soon.

Roadkill - Captain Kaiser
Roadkill hits like a brain fog breakdown in slow motion, but then it explodes into your ears in the best way possible.
Captain Kaiser walk the tightrope between anxiety and adrenaline on this one, with Sascha Vansant’s vocals trailing through verses like he’s just trying to keep it together, before everything crashes into a chorus that RIPS. This is that kind of punk that feels like a confessional, and that’s why I like it!
Keep an eye out for Belgian Boy, out October 10!

Take ’Em All - Kröna
Kröna comes on hard from the chaos of Santo Domingo’s DIY scene to Miami’s melting-pot punk underground with Take ‘Em All. This one’s fast, fierce, and built on a backbone of Caribbean rhythm that I so love.
And that vocal delivery? Barked, raw, and way too real. Honestly, I don't know if I'm supposed to headbang or skank, but if I had to guess, I’d say probably both.
Catch them on tour this summer; these songs aren’t meant to be streamed quietly.

get me 2 the grave - You Vandal
You Vandal return with sweet sun-drenched pop-punk sadness. Thank God for small mercies.
get me 2 the grave is from their fourth LP, this is where people come to die, and arguably their most refined blend of pop-punk hooks and emo nostalgia yet. I’d say this record sits somewhere between Alkaline Trio and early 2000s radio rock, with just enough cynicism to keep things grounded.
Your Vandal isn’t trying to be for everyone. Just trying to be real, and it works.

Control - The Cheats
Pittsburgh’s The Cheats are back with Control, a snarling shot of punk ‘n’ roll from their upcoming sixth album. It’s filthy, fast, and full of spite, and I wouldn’t want it any other way! Produced by Johnny Razorblade (who also joins on guitar), the band sounds positively more pissed-off and fired-up than ever.
Make no mistake, for this is no simple throwback! It’s modern punk propelled by decades of bourbon-soaked experience! Check it out because this one ain’t going silent anytime soon.

Bad Vibes OST - SEX FACES
Bad Vibes OST is noisy and scuzzy like something that crawled out of a basement gig at 3 AM and never went home. SEX FACES sound like they’ve lived every line they shout, and the record feels messy in all the right ways.
Burned-out punk energy, shot through with weird viola lines, broken relationships, bad trips, and leftover rage. It’s everything a girl wants. If you’re into bratty, burnt-out, or barely holding together vibes, this one’s worth a listen.

You Only YOLO Once - Burnt Tapes
London-via-Athens punks Burnt Tapes just dropped a suspiciously upbeat anthem on anxiety, insomnia, and the lies your brain tells you. You Only YOLO Once is raw and punchy regret punk at its best. Expect part coping mechanism, part crowd chants, and part sharp lines and urgency.
Phil G. calls it “the ultimate party song about depression” and somehow…Yes, I agree. Stream it now! Their full album, New Lungs, lands on August 8. So, don’t sleep on it!

Canvas - DARKO
Progressive punk titans DARKO return with Canvas, the title track from the final installment in their EP trilogy. Following Sparkle and Greyscale, this closer is a masterclass in tension and precision. It’s giving skate-punk shred, death-metal grit, and post-rock atmosphere all at once.
Canvas pays tribute to the DIY promoters risking it all to keep underground music alive. It’s a call to arms and a thank-you note in the form of a tech-punk uppercut.
So, you're welcome and don’t miss the full Canvas EP dropping July 18.

Evel Mann - Infamous Stiffs
California punk veterans Infamous Stiffs are here with a hot new single, Evel Mann. With their roots in decades of punk pedigree (members from Verbal Abuse, Electric Frankenstein, The Avengers, and more), this track feels like the original punk attitude.
But, of course, Evel Mann is more than harsh criticism of false prophets. It’s set to build anticipation for their upcoming full-length album dropping July 4th, too!
Stream Evel Mann now on one of the channels linked here and get ready for the album release this summer!

All I Ever Wanted - Doozer McDooze
There’s always room on a punk playlist for the scrappy, acoustic honesty of Doozer McDooze. All I Ever Wanted is my playlist’s version of a campfire story: warm, witty, and real.
Doozer’s not just playing songs, he’s building shelter with them. And whether he’s calling out the system or singing about something more personal, it always feels like he’s right there beside you, boots in the mud and all.
If Billy Bragg, Frank Turner, and a weathered festival stage had a lovechild, I promise it’d sound a lot like this.

Sunshine State - Fortitude Valley
Sunshine State is the kind of song that sneaks up on you. It’s all jangly and upbeat on the surface, but in reality, it’s all about emotional distance, breakups, and those awkward reunions where you’re both pretending not to care anymore.
The lyrics cut a little deeper every time you listen. “My heart was never in it” is especially ouch-y. It’s not angry, just honest in the worst (and most relatable) way.
The video’s shot in Queensland, and this weird contrast between the bright, sunny visuals and the heavy emotional weight of the song shows there as well. Makes it even sadder somehow.
If the rest of the album, Part Of The Problem, Baby, is anything like this, we’re in for something pretty special.

Gutter Priestess - Frankie and the Witch Fingers
Last but definitely not least, Gutter Priestess from Trash Classic, is a grimy little banger: danceable in the way a panic attack might be. I’ve been playing it on repeat for a while now and feel stuck somewhere between junkyard psych-punk and new wave on a comedown.
And instead of a video, they dropped a full playable video game with it, which is genius and exactly the kind of chaos that makes sense for a track like this. The whole record sounds like it was recorded under flickering lights and chemical haze, which checks out since it was produced by Maryam Qudus and cooked up between industrial L.A. and Oakland.
Give it a listen here and show some love!
