Dance Music For Lost Souls // Melodic House - Progressive House - Tech House // September 2026

For the nights when the beat is loud, but your thoughts are louder. When turning up the music is the only way to quiet your head, disappear into the rhythm, and let the dancefloor do the rest.

Somewhere beneath the surface of the electronic underground, another collection of tracks has found its way to me. This month’s Dance Music for Lost Souls is held together by a feeling rather than a genre - that familiar sense of melancholy that seems to hit a little harder after dark. Across 30 tracks, the sounds change, but the mood stays close: longing, loneliness, memories, and the strange comfort of being somewhere between sadness and the dancefloor. Put the playlist on and stay there for a while.

Featuring: Frynn & Jack Emery, HANA & Ezequiel Arias, Ophanim, Marten Lou & RIVO, Maty Owl, Hidde van Wee, Maze 28, DAVI, Sezer Uysal, Super Flu & Monkey Safari, Jonathan Kaspar & Bákayan, DALÛ, DJ YUKI, BAUGRUPPE90, and Slow Ted alongside Gabrielle Ornate, Ben Ivalencia, Enfant de la rave, Amos & Riot Night, Twisted Melodiez & Say Sakura, DeltaX, GlowDriver, HVXLII, Adam Swim, ALIMA & Simon T.P., QHAGFRE, and Joe Decks.

Gabrielle Ornate - Sun And Moon (Ornaldo Avalon Remix)

Orlando Avalon takes Gabrielle Ornate's celestial love song and turns its emotional drama toward the dancefloor. This tech-house remix keeps the poignancy of Sun And Moon intact, but gives it a more driving pulse and club-ready momentum.

There's something beautifully contradictory about it: a song rooted in romantic darkness suddenly has somewhere to go, transforming heartbreak into movement.

Ben Ivalencia - Seashore (KOEF Music)

Seashore feels like EDM after the sun has gone down. Ben Ivalencia blends warm synth textures, organic percussion and melodic electronic production into a hazy piece of chill house that carries a distinctly coastal nostalgia.

There's no rush here, just that beautiful space between sunset and night, when the road is empty, the windows are down and the next destination doesn't matter quite so much. Ivalencia also uses AI vocals on the track, embracing the technology as another creative tool in his production process.

Enfant de la rave - T78 & Krazka X NOYSE & Vernex

Enfant De La Rave does exactly what its name promises: it sounds like someone has kicked open the doors to a rave and decided there is no reason to leave. At 155 BPM, T78, KRAZKA, NOYSE and Vernex push into Hard Dance, Hardcore and Neo Rave, with a relentless, high-pressure energy that feels built for the darkest, most feverish stretch of a club night. It's not trying to be polite and that is very much the point.

Amos & Riot Night - Pieces (Future Sound of Egypt Limited)

There's a particular kind of trance that makes emotion feel enormous, and Pieces lives comfortably in that space. Amos & Riot Night, with Grant Trowbridge and Lucy Starr, build the track around the 140 BPM main-floor trance framework: expansive melody, forward momentum and the kind of scale that makes a private feeling suddenly seem capable of filling an entire room.

It belongs to that beautiful corner of trance where the dancefloor can feel strangely intimate.

Twisted Melodiez & Say Sakura - Blueberry (TM)

Blueberry brings a lighter, more playful shade to the selection. The collaboration between Twisted Melodiez and Say Sakura sits comfortably in the electronic/dance world, offering a welcome change of temperature after the heavier club pressure elsewhere in the list.

It feels like the sort of track that belongs to the less serious side of a night out. The moment when the lights are low, the bass is doing its job and nobody is checking the time.

DeltaX - Addictive 9 (INFINITE)

As its title suggests, Addictive is built around the immediate pleasure of a good dance track. DeltaX - the project of Logan Voss - leans into modern Dance/Electronic production, with dynamic digital rhythms, melodic synth work and an upbeat energy designed to keep the momentum moving.

Taken from the 2026 album Bloom, it sits comfortably in that sweet spot between accessible electronic songwriting and dancefloor-ready production: bright, energetic and deliberately hard to sit still through.

GlowDriver - Tell Me (3084678 Records DK)

GlowDriver goes straight for the rush on Tell Me. At 126 BPM, soaring female vocals ride over melodic-house production and a huge, radio-ready hook, giving the track that particular rush of euphoric Dance Pop made for festival lights and late-night drives.

It’s polished without losing its emotional side, with the kind of chorus that feels built for a crowd to sing back.

Connect with GlowDriver: Instagram | Spotify

HVXLII - Drive (HVXLII / Blackwork Industries)

Drive is where progressive house gets a little dangerous. HVXLII builds the track around a 125 BPM pulse, droning basslines and hypnotic grooves, balancing sleek club production with an alt-pop sensibility. The mood is dark, sensual and kinetic, less "hands in the air" and more city lights sliding across the windshield at 2 a.m. It's electronic music with a pulse that feels physical rather than purely euphoric.

Adam Swim - This Feeling (Cascade Records)

Adam Swim's This Feeling is pure late-summer electricity without needing to shout about it. Built from house grooves, soulful warmth, nu-disco touches and indie-dance energy, it moves with an easy bounce rather than chasing a giant drop. There's warmth in the production and something almost nostalgic about its relaxed momentum; the musical equivalent of staying outside long after sunset because going home feels like a terrible idea. Released August 14, 2026 as the third single from the upcoming Eden EP.

ALIMA & Simon T.P. - Made of Light (AMPP)

Made of Light begins in the emotional territory of trance but refuses to stay there quietly. ALIMA and Simon T.P. combine a melodic, atmospheric foundation with hardstyle-influenced rhythm and heavier kicks, creating a striking push and pull between vulnerability and force.

The track was built around Simon T.P.'s original lead melody, with ALIMA developing the surrounding composition and production, and that contrast becomes part of its identity: something luminous trying to break through something heavy.

QHAGFRE - Weightless

Some EDM tracks are about escape; Weightless is about letting go. QHAGFRE wraps that idea in uplifting progressive house, cinematic atmosphere, expressive vocals and increasingly expansive builds, tracing the movement from fear and doubt toward a feeling of freedom.

What makes the concept work is the emotional direction: the track isn't pretending that the weight never existed. It is about finding the strength to rise above it.

Joe Decks - Nova (Elliptical Sun Melodies)

There is something wonderfully weightless about the way Nova approaches progressive house. Joe Decks lays down a 125 BPM groove-heavy foundation, then lets crisp percussion, a hypnotic bassline and soaring melodic hooks gradually open the track outward. The result is atmospheric without becoming sleepy and emotional without losing its dancefloor purpose.

A track that seems to get bigger the longer you stay inside it. Released August 14, 2026, on Elliptical Sun Melodies.

Until the Night Ends

Somewhere between the first beat and the last, these tracks all find their way back to the same place - that strange space where sadness, memory and music become difficult to separate. Maybe that is what keeps us coming back to the dancefloor: not to forget everything, but to feel it differently for a while. Until the lights come on, the music stops, and we're left alone with our thoughts again.
