Fleshgod Apocalypse - "Thru Our Scars" 

 

Fleshgod Apocalypse is an Italian symphonic/technical death metal band formed in 2007. Band members are Paolo Rossi - bass, clean vocals, Francesco Paoli - guitars, vocals Francesco Ferrini - piano, orchestrations, Eugene Ryabchenko - drums, Fabio Bartoletti - guitars, and Veronica  Bordacchini - vocals (soprano). Thru Our Scars is the opening track from the band's first EP Mafia, released on May 18, 2010.

Dark Lunacy - "Dolls"

The Italian symphonic/melodic death metal consists of Mike Lunacy - vocals, Jacopo Rossi - bass, Marco Binda - drums, and Davide Rinaldi - guitars. Dolls is included in the band's first official album called Devoid, released in November 2000.

Einvera - "Static Ascension"

The American avant-garde extreme metal band consisted of Mike - bass, keyboards, Zac - drums, and Grant - vocals, guitars, banjo, vibraphone, accordion, mandolin, glockenspiel, toy piano. Static Ascension is from the band's first EP In Your Image, released in 2011.

Carach Angren - "The Funerary Dirge of a Violinist" 

Carach Angren is a symphonic black metal band founded in the Netherlands in 2003. Band members are Dennis "Seregor" Droomers - Guitars, Vocals, and Clemens "Ardek" Wijers - keyboards, piano, orchestrations, vocals. The Funerary Dirge of a Violinist is taken from the band's third studio album Where the Corpses Sink Forever, released in 2012.

Paysage d'Hiver - "Welt aus Eis"

The ambient black metal band from Switzerland was formed in 1997. Wintherr  (vocals, guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, violin, samples, drum programming) is the band's sole member. Welt aus Eis is in the 4th Paysage d'Hiver's demo released in 1999.

Gris - "Les Forges"

The black metal band was formed in 2006 in Quebec, Canada. Its members are Neptune - guitars, bass, cello, and Icare - vocals, piano, violin, drums. Les forges is included in the band's 3rd studio album À l'âme enflammée, l'äme constellée, released in 2013.

So Hideous - "Falling Cedars"

Hailing from New York, So Hideous is a post-black metal/shoegaze band formed in 2008. The current lineup consists of Brandon Cruz - guitars, keyboards, Christopher Cruz - vocals, bass, Danny - drums, and Etienne - guitars. Falling Cedars is an instrumental track included in the band's album Laurestine, released in 2015.

Dawn Ray’d - "Like Smoke Into Fog"

Dawn Ray’d is a British black metal band founded in 2015. Band members are Matthew B. - drums, Fabian D. - guitars, and Simon B. - vocals, violin. Like Smoke Into Fog is included in Behold Sedition Plainsong album, released in 2019.

Mondstille - "Seelenwund"

The avant-garde black metal band from Austria was formed in 2004 and consists of Jörg Varga - Bass, David - guitars, lyrics, Markus - guitars, lyrics, vocals, and Ludwig - violin. Seelenwund is an instrumental song included in the band's second full length album Seelenwund, released in 2012.

Ne Obliviscaris - "And Plague Flowers The Kaleidoscope"

The six-piece Australian extreme progressive metal band Ne Obliviscaris was formed in 2003. Current members are Tim Charles - violin, vocals, Xenoyr - vocals, Matt Klavins - guitars, Daniel Presland - drums, Benjamin Baret - guitars, and Martino Garattoni - bass. And Plague Flowers The Kaleidoscope is from the band's debut album Portal of I, released in 2012.

SubRosa - "The Usher"

SubRosa was a heavy experimental doom band from Salt Lake City, Utah. The band broke up in 2019. Its members were Rebecca Vernon - guitars, vocals, Sarah Pendleton - violin, vocals, Kim Pack - violin, vocals, Andy Patterson - drums, and Kory Quist - bass. The Usher is the opening track from More Constant than the Gods, SubRosa's 3rd full-length album released in 2013.

Dornenreich -  "Wolfpuls"

Dornenreich is a melodic black metal band from Austria, founded in 1996. The current line up consists of Eviga - vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards, tambourine, psaltery, Dragomir/ Gilván - drums, percussion, and Inve - violin. Wolfpuls is included in the band's full-length album Flammentriebe released in 2011.

Unexpect - "The Quantum Symphony"

Unexpect was a Canadian avant-garde/progressive metal band from Montréal, Canada formed in 1996. Band members were Artagoth - guitars, vocals, Syriak - guitars, vocals, Leïlindel - vocals, Landryx - drums, Blaise Borboen-Leonard - violin. The Quantum Symphony is included in Fables of the Sleepless Empire, Unexpect's third and final full-length album released on May 31, 2011.

Dominia - "Mountains of God's Depression"

Dominia is a doom/melodic death metal band formed in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2001. The band consists of Daniel - guitars, vocals, Anton Rosa - vocals, guitars, bass, Oleg "Papa" Filistovich - drums, and Mikhail Morozkin - violin. Mountains of God's Depression is the closing track of Divine Revolution, Dominia's first full-length album, released in 2006.

A Forest of Stars is a UK-based, avant-garde/progressive black metal band formed in 2007. The current line up consists of Mr. T.S. Kettleburner - bass, vocals, guitars, The Gentleman - drums, keyboards, pianoforte, percussion, Mister Curse - vocals, Katheryne, Queen of the Ghosts - vocals, violin, flute, Mr. John "The Resurrectionist" Bishop - drums, percussion, Mr. Titus Lungbutter - bass, Mr William Wight-Barrow - guitars. Drawing Down The Rain is from the band's 4th album Beware the Sword You Cannot See, released on February 27th, 2015.

At the Gates is a Swedish melodic death metal band founded in 1990, and consists of Tomas Lindberg − vocals, Adrian Erlandsson − drums, Jonas Björler − bass, Martin Larsson − rhythm guitar, Jonas Stålhammar − lead guitar. "The Red in the Sky Is Ours/The Season to Come" is the opening track from the band's debut album The Red in the Sky Is Ours released on 27 July 1992.

My Dying Bride - "Your Broken Shore"

My Dying Bride is an English gothic/doom metal band formed in 1990. The band consists of  Aaron Stainthorpe – vocals, Andrew Craighan – guitars,  Lena Abé – bass, Shaun MacGowan – violin, keyboards, Jeff Singer – drums, Neil Blanchett – guitars. Your Broken Shore is from the band's thirteenth studio album entitled The Ghost of Orion, released on 6 March 2020.

Elvenking is an Italian melodic power/folk metal band founded in 1997. Therion - "Tuonela"

Therion is a Swedish symphonic metal band founded in 1987. The band consists of Christofer Johnsson - guitars, keyboards, programming, Hammond organ, orchestral arrangement, Sami Karppinen - drums, Nalle Påhlsson - Bass, Thomas Vikström - vocals, Christian Vidal - guitars, Lori Lewis - vocals (soprano). Tuonela is from Therion's seventeenth full-length album Leviathan, released on January 22nd, 2021.

After Forever - "Monolith of Doubt"

After Forever was a symphonic power/gothic metal band formed in the Netherlands in 1995. The last known lineup consisted of Sander Gommans - guitars, vocals, Luuk van Gerven - bass, Floor Jansen - vocals, André Borgman - drums, Bas Maas - guitars, vocals, Joost van den Broek - keyboards. After Forever disbanded in February 2009. Monolith of Doubt is a single released by After Forever in 2003.

Blackthorn - "Hexshadow Turned to Flesh"

Blackthorn is a five-peace, all-female Russian symphonic extreme metal band founded in 2004. Band members are Aina – vocals, Elvira Alchemida – vocals, guitars, keyboards, Elena 'Less' Lesnykh – violin, Tatyana 'Greta' Grevizirskaya – bass guitar, and Acotath – drums. Hexshadow Turned to Flesh is from the band's studio album Codex Archaos released in 2011.

Liva - "Terra Superbit"

The Canadian opera metallers were formed in 1997 in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Its members are Félix L. Dandonneau - bass, Martin Plante - drums, Catherine Elvira Chartier - vocals (soprano), violin, and Pier Carlo Liva - vocals, guitars. Terra Superbit is part of Liva's 2nd full length album De Insulis, released in 2007.

Dethklok - "Dethharmonic"

Dethklok is a virtual death metal band featured in the Adult Swim animated program Metalocalypse. A real band was formed to play the band's music in live shows. Both bands were created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha. The fictional show line up was Nathan Explosion, Skwisgaar Skwigelf, Toki Wartooth, William Murderface, and Pickles. Real-life band members are Brendon Small - lead vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards​, Gene Hoglan – drums, and Bryan Beller – bass guitar.​​​​​​ Dethharmonic is a song from The Dethalbum released on September 25th, 2007.

Unlucky Morpheus - "Unending Sorceress"

Unlucky Morpheus is a Japanese metal band founded in 2008.
