Christina Martin - Little Princess

Christina Martin's latest single Little Princess is a heartfelt ode to her late brother, a gifted artist, and a rebel, who passed away in 2013. It's a sweeping rock anthem that showcases Martin's powerhouse vocals and her ability to seamlessly blend the raw energy of rock with the refined elegance of orchestral arrangements, elevating the song above the fray of standard rock fare into something majestic and profound.

Christina says about the song: "Growing up I admired my older brother, who was a gifted artist, but also a rebel. He died in 2013 of an opioid overdose at the age of 41. This song touches on our relationship and a memory of writing my first prose and wanting to impress him with it. We were two embryonic artists, intrinsically bound by blood and similarities, and yet with mental illness in the mix, we kept each other at arm's length."

iTopia is a psychedelic, utterly ethereal synth-fueled anthem, that evokes the feeling of being transported through a wormhole into a cosmic wonderland. The song is taken off of psychedelic indie rock power outfit The Get Right Band's latest LP with the same name, which delves deep into the impact of technology and social media on our lives, exploring themes of disconnection, discontentment, and the fragility of human nature. Ethan Eckert - And

Article photo - SONGS WE LOVED! 24-30 April 2023

And is a transcendent piece of music taken from musician, writer, painter, and filmmaker Ethan Eckert's latest album 21, Punishment, and Disarray. With each note, Eckert weaves a tapestry of sound that sparkles with imagination and creativity, while the airy, faraway vocals float atop the gentle guitar melodies, transporting you to a place beyond time and space. This is utterly otherworldly and evokes a sense of weightlessness as if you're floating through the cosmos.

Ethan Eckert donates all profits from his music to charity, making every purchase a small act of kindness toward those in need.

The Land by Holy Reptile's upcoming EP due later this year, is a hypnotic, otherworldly journey into the darker side of psychedelic rock. The haunting blend of the bassline, the guitar riffs, and the fervid vocals converge to create a sonic maelstrom that is impossible not to get caught up in.  A swirling, psychedelic mirage of sound and emotion that draws from the depths of southern gothic literature, weaving a tale of mystery and intrigue.
