2 reasons why people want to buy it
Actual feedback of people who want to buy Marshall DSL100HR
- "The price"A 25-34 y.o. male fan of Coldplay from Italy
- "Classic marshall looks, but more channels/modes, and more gain available than previous marshalls like jcm 800. I like that i could get the "classic marshall" tones out of it, but that i could also get higher gain tones straight from the amp without requiring me to use a pedal". It is also a well made and very versatile amplifier for its price point. I own peaveys and mesa boogies, but they just can't recreate that marshall sound that you know so well when you hear it. It may use pcbs and it may be manufactured in a foreign country, but every company that makes amplifiers these days (especially amps that are priced reasonably enough so that buying them doesn't require that one must be wealthy) are doing the very same thing. It's a nice ideal to want to only build amps in america and england, but how does that help the average working musician who needs and deserves great tone just like a rich musician? It doesn't. So in order for everyone to be able to access and afford an amp made by a reputable company, these are just steps that must be taken and are unavoidable. There are people just as competent, and perfectly capable of manufacturing a good amp in these other countries, just the same as in america and england. I would even dare say there may just be some who are better. I think folks who down an amp because of its origin of manufacture are just plain ignorant. I just ordered a new dsl100hr and its supposed to show up tomorrow, and i'm gonna have a blast jamming on it. It's a beautiful thing no matter where it's built. Marshall hit the nail on the head with these amps. And if the gear snobs of the world don't like it, that's their own ignorance holding them back from experiencing great things that also provide the added bonus of saving a dollar. Most people like that don't care about that anyway though, because it's mommy and daddy who are providing them with their gear."A 35-44 y.o. male fan of Guns N' Roses from United States
